Oversee active job sites from start to finish. You'll coordinate crews and subcontractors, keep schedules and budgets on track, order materials, and make sure every build meets code and passes inspection. Strong organization and on-site problem-solving matter more here than a specific degree.
Handle the hands-on renovation work: carpentry, drywall, flooring, tile, painting, and finish work across bathrooms, kitchens, and full remodels. You'll read plans, work cleanly in occupied homes, and take pride in the details clients notice. Trade experience helps, but reliability and a good attitude count for just as much.
Keep the business running behind the scenes. You'll answer client calls, schedule crews and estimates, manage paperwork and permits, and keep projects moving between the field and the office. Comfort with phones, email, and basic scheduling software is the main requirement.
Own each project from signed contract to final walkthrough. You'll build timelines, coordinate crews and materials, update clients at every stage, and step in when a job hits a snag. Renovation or construction experience plus clear communication are essential.
Meet homeowners, walk their space, and turn renovation ideas into clear scopes and quotes. You'll build the relationships that lead to referrals and repeat work, so personality and follow-through matter as much as product knowledge. A good design eye is a plus.
